Tuna Town Party!

Måndag: We had a pretty chill Pday and took some time to rest. While we were emailing home the person we were planning on teaching called and said that she had a fever and we don't want to get sick so that didn't end up happening so we went by some people that we would like to start teaching and most of them were busy but said that we could try again. Then we had a FHE with our member mom here in Katrineholm. That was really good and we talked about how trials shape us into the person that we are. We also watched the refiners fire which is a great little video and I highly recommend. Also cut my hair for the first time and that went very well actually, I was very nervous😬😂

Tisdag: We had a lot of time to find and that was great. We have lost a couple of people that we normally teach which is sad but gives us more time to find more people to teach! Then we went to a språk cafe to learn us some more swedish and be able to just talk with some native speakers and that was really nice. After that we traveled to Eskilstuna for the last time this transfer (and possibly ever) but while there that night we got a call from the financial secretary from Eskilstuna but was meant for me because I didn't buy all of the zones for my bus card and just asked me a couple questions and we have it all figured out.

Onsdag: Started off the day playing some soccer because yah know, you don't get to do that often and shocker there is no snow here at the moment😂. Trust me I am a little bummed about it too but oh well.... Anyways then I went on splits with Äldste Austin and that was so cool. We had a lesson with one of their people that they are teaching and that went super well. Then we had lunch with one of the members that was super cool. Come to find out the husband was baptized and then was called as a branch president. So talk about being converted! Then we went to an Espresso House to do a study and over heard a young man doing an interview with someone trying to get into an American College and we had the feeling that we needed to talk to him and so we did and that was so cool and he was super positive! Then we traveled home and we didn't have to do an emergency travel because we left or lost something. We have gotten better at using public transportation.

Torsdag: We had a lesson with one of our friends and in preparing for this lesson we didn't know whether to do a pump up lesson or teach him something new because he has had all of the lessons up to lesson 4 in Preach My Gospel. We ended up deciding to teach him about the Priesthood and that was what was needed to help him because he was learning something new and showed him that there is a lot more to the Gospel of Jesus Christ then just those lessons. Then we went out knocking and Äldste Jackson got another flat tire so that was a great way to end the night....

Fredag: Had weekly planning and we were able to get in contact and set up at least one lesson a day this up coming week so that will be great. We also mixed it up this week and had a lesson that broke up weekly planning a little. It was nice to get something different in. Other then that there was nothing else that really happened today.

Lördag: We started off with some finding and we went to an area with a very pretty lake and that was so pretty. Then we taught one of our friends some english and it is weird to teach english through swedish when you don't even know english that well let alone Swedish.... Hopefully that made sense😂 On our way out of the Library we saw one of the people that we are going to teach on tuesday and be able to confirm with him that it will happen! Then were able to teach one of our friends and be able to help him realize how important it is to read the scriptures every day and learn as much as possible about the gospel.

Söndag: We had our talks and they went really well. I still need a lot of work on swedish but it was a lot better this time around. Then we had some good old Branch Council to prepare for Branch Conference next week. So that was a big surprise and took us by surprise then on our way back we ran into someone that has met the missionaries before and she gave us some nice little books with some scriptures from the bible to us. Super cool! Then I realized that we only have 1 more full week in this transfer! So sad.

One more thing as I was reading the Book of Mormon this week my mom also sent me something that I thought was really cool and thought I would share it! For come follow me we read Lehi's dream and it starts off with him in the wilderness and being lost but then he sees an angel of God and the angel says to follow him and so Lehi starts to follow but then gets lost. Sometimes we are like Lehi, we are following the Lord and then we get lost along the way! Lehi was lost for a couple of hours and wondered until he finally decided to ask the Lord to show mercy on him and help him out some more and that is when Lehi sees the Tree of Life! We need to remember even if we are following the Lord sometimes we get lost and need to call out for help, so call out for help and the Lord will be there for you!

Miss you all tones and have a wonderful week!
