Elder Paxton - Sweden Stockholm Mission

  I am trying something knew and seeing how it works.  This one is a longer email and I have always tried to make mine short but we will see how it goes.  I know that reading all the missionary emails can be a lot so..... I tried Monday: We taught a Family Home Evning lesson to a part member family and a less active family and we did the lesson where you put a bunch of heavy stuff into a backpack and then take out the weight as you come closer to Jesus and Heavenly Father, which was perfect for the age group that we were teaching.  We then played some games with them and that was supper fun!  After games we had pizza and talked with everyone that was there. Tuesday: We then went to help the Clouses prepare for zone conference and that was fun.  I learned how to do some fancy things with napkins and that was cool.  After we finished helping they took us to McDonalds and that was so good!  It was nice to have something that was kinda from the states...

  Hello friends and family, this week has gone by so fast and I feel like time is speeding up, which I don't want to happen but it's doing it anyway! This week was full of adventures! To start of, we went to a reptile place with some inactive members and that was so cool, one of them was really smart and knew a lot and had a little fun fact about almost all the reptile there! He also invited us over to see his snake, which I really want to see because I love holding snakes. We have had a few lessons this week and I have been able to understand a lot more everyday and I am able to add what I want to say without feeling like I am taking away from the lesson. We have done so many role plays and they are paying off with some cool results of me knowing Swedish! I was able to go on splits this week with Äldste Walker and that was really cool!   This week has flown by! Like, I feel like it was Pday yesterday and I was sending another email, but wow a lot has happened this week. It is getting colder, windier, and rainier. It has been clody for the past 5 days and I just wish it would snow and not just Rain but supposadly it doesn't snow that much in Malmö so oh well. Just a little side note.  First, we finished the rest of conference and I think the last session was the best one because I really connected with some of the speakers. I loved President Eyrings Talk and how we need become more holy and when we become more holy then you become more happy. I have really tried to Apply thag to my life and I have really seen a difference as a read my scriptures and preach my gospel every day and try to smile as much as I can to others and brighten their days.   How is everyone, are you having fun because I sure am! This week has been crazy fast. We have been so busy and just go through the day and it feels like it is still morning. I am doing wonderful over hear in the motherland and have adjusted well.  It is starting to get cold really fast ️ We have had a couple of lessons and they have been great and I have felt the spirit confirm to me that what we teach is true every time. Cool story, my Swedish has improved significantly while being here. I have seen the gift of tongues helping me every day, whether I understand stuff better or I just remember words that help me express myself, it just feels like everything is sticking.  This past week has had a lot of meetings involved: first we had MLC, because my companion is a split Zone Leader I was able to participate and I loved hearing what others have done to help with the missionary work in there areas.
