Splits and a Frog

 This week has flown by! Like, I feel like it was Pday yesterday and I was sending another email, but wow a lot has happened this week. It is getting colder, windier, and rainier.


It has been clody for the past 5 days and I just wish it would snow and not just Rain but supposadly it doesn't snow that much in Malmö so oh well. Just a little side note. 

First, we finished the rest of conference and I think the last session was the best one because I really connected with some of the speakers. I loved President Eyrings Talk and how we need become more holy and when we become more holy then you become more happy. I have really tried to Apply thag to my life and I have really seen a difference as a read my scriptures and preach my gospel every day and try to smile as much as I can to others and brighten their days.

I went on splits with Äldste Ward on Wednesday and Thursday last week and that was fun! We knocked on a few doors and it was cool because we could Talk to them, I didn't know exactly what they said but I got the gist of what they were talking about and was able to responded in my broken Swedish. We also found a frog and we took a picture that reminded us both of Äldste Wrangell (we also made a little adjustment because he loves rootbeer😂)

I have found a love for reading the Book of Mormon every day. I have learned so much from it and I am not even halfway through it. I also love thinking about the movemebt of the people. I highly suggest thag all of you try to read the Book of Mormon as much as you can because you just get a wonderful feeling after reading it and it has so many answers to questions you didn't even know you had! 

I love the people in this ward they are so nice and I am very thank ful for their love they have shown me. We had a member meal yesterday and it was probably the best lasonia i have ever had.

The sacrement is a very important part of my week because we dont get to go to the temple every week, like I was this past summer and in the MTC. I have really focused on giving up my old habit s and tried to throw them in a rushing water fall where I can never retrieve them again.

funny story, if you don't know but I love playing Pokemon Go and on Saturday we were doing språk study (language study) at a park and there were a lot of people out at the park looking at their phones and swiping.  So I went and asked one of them and they showed me which Pokemon was featured and I had a good time😂😁

  Hello everyone! (8/22/2019) What an amazing week it has been.  I have had a lot of good experiences!  We have been learning the language constantly for the past week and I don't think it is going to change any time soon.  It is crazy how much you feel the spirit here.  I have felt his love for me every day that I have been here. I love my companions, because I got lucky and have 2, and I love my district!  Our district is a lot bigger then I thought it would be. We have 15 Elders and 1 Sister.  We have an Elder from Finland, New Zealand, and a Sister from Switzerland. I have had a good time and love being here.   Message of the week comes from 2 Nephi 9:45 "O, my beloved brethren, turn away from your sins; shake off the achains of him that would bind you fast; come unto that God who is the brock of your salvation." Walking Through Fog

  Hello friends and family, this week has gone by so fast and I feel like time is speeding up, which I don't want to happen but it's doing it anyway! This week was full of adventures! To start of, we went to a reptile place with some inactive members and that was so cool, one of them was really smart and knew a lot and had a little fun fact about almost all the reptile there! He also invited us over to see his snake, which I really want to see because I love holding snakes. We have had a few lessons this week and I have been able to understand a lot more everyday and I am able to add what I want to say without feeling like I am taking away from the lesson. We have done so many role plays and they are paying off with some cool results of me knowing Swedish! I was able to go on splits this week with Äldste Walker and that was really cool!   Monday: We decided to make some cookies and give them to some of the people that we were teaching and that was super cool to see their faces light up and be able to show them our love for them! We then had an FHE lesson with a member and we watched one of the talks from the Christmas devotional and it was really good and a great reminder of how we can always be improving and trying our best to be more like the Savior! Tuesday: Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse... lies!! There was a lot of stirring because this is when the swedish people all celebrate Christmas and open presents! We spent the night with the Branch President and his family and that was so fun! We watched Kalle Anka and then had some really good food! We then started singing all of these songs and it was sooooooo cool!
