SNOW!!!
Monday: We had FHE with a member and we watched the Christ Child with them and it was so good! Let me tell you, I watch that all the time because I love it and just want to share it so bad! We also had a lesson that went really well, we taught the first half of the Plan of Salvation and we will teach the other half of the Plan tonight. We also said goodbye to one of our people that we are teaching that moved to a different area, he bought us some pizza and it was good!
Tuesday: We did lots of finding, whether that was street contacting or knocking on some doors. The street contacting wasn't as easy because it wasn't as natural because everyone was in a hurry to get from place to place. We then made some No bake cookies with a recipe from one of my aunts. That was really good and they turned out perfect!
Wednesday: We taught one of our investigators and it was sad that we had to move his baptismal date but we want him to be ready and not to be baptized and then fall away. We also taught one of the members and it was cool to hear their testimony of prayer and I have come to rely on prayer a lot more here because you need the Lord's help with everything!
Thursday: Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful District council and then a wonderful time thinking of what we were grateful for! It was also nice to talk to my family. I was able to have a really cool experience to share what I was grateful for! We also went to a restaurant and had some awesome burgers from Sweden!
Friday: It SNOWED!!!! I am so excited but it won't last for long because next week it is supposed to rain a couple of the days. It was so cool to see the white and be in some chilly weather! We then had 2 lessons and that went really well. We taught a guy who is progressing and that is really cool, just need him to commit! We then went to a small town a little north called Bia and had a lesson there. We taught the restoration and that went really we saying that it was in English. It felt really weird to be teaching in english just because I teach a lot of lessons in Swedish.
Saturday: Today we met with a person that we tried to meet but the son wouldn't let us in the apartment but today we got in and taught them. Come to find out that this person believes in the Viking gods like Thor and Oden and Thor's hammers
. We then saw a really cool shield of Thor! We then had a branch party for Thanksgiving and had some turkey because you can't go thanksgiving without turkey! We had a lot of good food and it was nice to sit and talk with all the members here!
Sunday: It was a nice sunny day that never got above 0 C! We had a good sacrament and I loved the lesson we had! We watched a video on how we need to go to the temple more because those that never had the opportunity to get the gospel are able to receive it by temple work! Other then that we went out and knocked on some doors and we found someone that was really interested with Light the World and said that we could come back to teach them a little more on how we can be more Chirst Like this Christmas. I would love to challenge all of you to do as many of the activities for light the world as possible!
