Bowling

 Monday:  We had work overs in Eskilstuna and spent the Pday there and it was so fun!  we went bowling and had a blast with the missionaries there!  They are such a fun group to be with.  We then had a member meal with the former Stake President and we showed them the Christ Child and it was so good!  We told them to focus on one character in particular and see how they feel and what emotions are going through their head. Also cool thing is that it was raining when we went in then it started snowing when we left.  


Tuesday:  Finished splits with Tuna town and fun fact was the only day that we have seen the sun this week but the sunrise was so pretty and a great way to start off the day!  Me and Äldste Austin went on splits and we met a guy that I had actually taught a couple of times in Katrineholms and that was funny.  We then went out and talked with this Lady that feeds the ducks there every tuesday  We then had a lesson that went really well saying that we are both training and learning the ropes of how to be a missionary here in Sweden.  Then on our way back with the luck that we have had with public transportation we forgot to give them there bus card back so we had to go and buy some tickets there and back and that was as interesting as ever to have to go back on a train because of that, won't do that again (this has already happened one time before this transfer!)

Wednesday:  Today we had a very busy day!  We had 3 lessons that all went super well and had a flat tire on the other side of town and was still able to be on time to everything!  We have had bike problems as well because this is like the 10 millionth time that we have had to fix Äldste Jacksons bike this transfer!  But we found out the problem and were ready to fix his bike on the next day!  For the lessons we taught two members with the Christ Child film and every time I watch it I get the chills!  It is a well put together description of Christ birth.

Thursday:  We had our last district council for the transfer and it was also Äldste Austins Birthday!  We sang happy birthday på svenska and stuff like that.  We then went to biltema for the last time for Äldste Jacksons bike and we were able to fix it and it hasn't been flat sense! Then the rest of the day we were out trying to find all the people that we could! 

Friday:  This was a really cool day because it is a holiday called Lucia here in Sweden and they do a little performance with the girl who is Lucia for the year, kinda like Miss Springville in a way.  That was really cool because we went to one in person and were able to see what it was really like!  The girl that was Lucia wore a crown of actual candles and it was soooooo cool!  The music was so good and just experiencing it was well worth it!  Also we had some good time to find before we went to the Lucia thing which is always nice!

Saturday:  Today was really cool because the entire mission was focused on handing out the light the world cards and seeing how many people we could get to participate in light the world!  We had a lot of success with that and were able to show the video to someone right on the spot.  And on top of finding så mycket så möjligt we had dinner with the Branch President and we had some killer hamburgers! Just a great time knocking Doors out in the Rain!

Sunday:  We Had the primary and young women program and that was so good, they had some awesome songs. After that we went out and tried to swing by someone that we want to start teaching but there was a fotball match on so we weren't able to teach him but we did some finding and knocke on some houses that we needed to swing by. After that we went to our apartment and waited for the transfer news because, wow another transfer has already flown by! But me and Äldste Jackson will be staying together and our district will be the same as well! Lots of cool stuff because we stay together like Christmas and then we get to have our Birthdays together! It is going to be fun!

  Hello everyone! (8/22/2019) What an amazing week it has been.  I have had a lot of good experiences!  We have been learning the language constantly for the past week and I don't think it is going to change any time soon.  It is crazy how much you feel the spirit here.  I have felt his love for me every day that I have been here. I love my companions, because I got lucky and have 2, and I love my district!  Our district is a lot bigger then I thought it would be. We have 15 Elders and 1 Sister.  We have an Elder from Finland, New Zealand, and a Sister from Switzerland. I have had a good time and love being here.   Message of the week comes from 2 Nephi 9:45 "O, my beloved brethren, turn away from your sins; shake off the achains of him that would bind you fast; come unto that God who is the brock of your salvation." Walking Through Fog

  Hello friends and family, this week has gone by so fast and I feel like time is speeding up, which I don't want to happen but it's doing it anyway! This week was full of adventures! To start of, we went to a reptile place with some inactive members and that was so cool, one of them was really smart and knew a lot and had a little fun fact about almost all the reptile there! He also invited us over to see his snake, which I really want to see because I love holding snakes. We have had a few lessons this week and I have been able to understand a lot more everyday and I am able to add what I want to say without feeling like I am taking away from the lesson. We have done so many role plays and they are paying off with some cool results of me knowing Swedish! I was able to go on splits this week with Äldste Walker and that was really cool!   Monday: We decided to make some cookies and give them to some of the people that we were teaching and that was super cool to see their faces light up and be able to show them our love for them! We then had an FHE lesson with a member and we watched one of the talks from the Christmas devotional and it was really good and a great reminder of how we can always be improving and trying our best to be more like the Savior! Tuesday: Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse... lies!! There was a lot of stirring because this is when the swedish people all celebrate Christmas and open presents! We spent the night with the Branch President and his family and that was so fun! We watched Kalle Anka and then had some really good food! We then started singing all of these songs and it was sooooooo cool! We would just start singing a song that then we had all these instruments that would just start playing and you felt like the lead...
